Tokyo Youth Summit
In collaboration with the Global Citizens Initiative (GCI), we are thrilled to announce that the applications for the Sixth Annual GCI Fellowship are now open!
The GCI Fellowship will kick off with a 10-day Global Citizens Youth Summit in Tokyo, Japan from July 25- August 3, 2019. We are also pleased to announce our second Professional Development Seminar taking place in Tokyo, JAPAN from July 29 – August 2, 2019.
Harvard Student Treks
The IOH welcomes dozens of Harvard University students and alumni to Bhutan each year, and provides opportunities for them to engage with Bhutanese students, leaders, and policymakers
The next Harvard Student Trek will occur between December 28th 2018 and January 4th 2019. Details will be published soon.
International Mentoring
For Bhutanese entrepreneurs seeking to access global markets, the IOH helps to establish relationships with international investors, distributors, and partners. Many of these mentors are Harvard students and alumni who have visited Bhutan through the IOH.
P2P Lab and the IOH: Pilot Project in Bhutan
P2P, Estonia and Institute of Happiness (IOH), Bhutan would like to collaborate on some ground breaking research projects on P2P lab with a potential pilot project in Bhutan. The research based project is looking for a Bhutanese graduate research fellow based in Bhutan but with requirement to travel to other similar projects in Europe and Africa.
The P2P Lab is an interdisciplinary research collective focused on the commons. The P2P lab is financially sustainable till December 2022. Most of our funding comes from a European Research Council Starting Grant (2019-22). We are constantly on the look-out for co-operation on interesting projects and will gladly provide our services in a pro-bono manner if the output is for commons.
